Electronic Service Analyst Paccar ESA v5.1.19051 is a diagnostic tool used for vehicle diagnosis and firmware update. The application provides data exchange between the PC and the vehicle controller. This release comes with the major bug fixes that were previously rare. Electronic Service Analyst (ESA) is a PC-based diagnostic tool similar to CAT ET or Cummins INSITe. ESA communicates through a data link adapter to the NAMUX components.
A technician can use ESA to detect fault codes in components, verify and troubleshoot new electronic instrumentation functions, update the control unit, program parameters, and diagnose the root cause of problems.
Note: The Electronic Services Analyst is provided without access to the Paccar ePortal. Instead we will provide SW (flash files) to connect to the vehicle without access to ePortal so you can reprogram your vehicle’s ECU offline.

When updating the software on a PACCAR display, it must be connected via the DLA to the truck and via a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed auxiliary cable? A male to A male connected from the PC to the USB port on the front of the truck. PACCAR display radio head unit.
If the software flashing on a PACCAR screen fails, you may need to turn the truck on and off to get the PACCAR screen out of bootloader mode before ESA can detect it as a drive available to flash.
If the software flashing on a PACCAR screen fails and cannot be restarted to the home screen, you may only be able to recover it from the software on a USB stick. You can prepare a USB stick for the flashing software by going to Tools> Flashing> Prepare USB Stick. The USB stick can be plugged into the USB port on the front of the PACCAR Display radio head unit to initiate a software update
The Found New Hardware Wizard may appear the first time you try to flash a PACCAR screen from the service PC. If the Automatically detect drivers option does not work correctly, choose the Have Disk option and go to C: Program Files PACCAR VPD SparrowWeaDrivers wea.inf for driver installation.
