A common problem with Mercedes-Benz diesel and CDI vehicles is the wrong timing between the engine control unit and the immobilizer pack. This mainly affects the EDC15C0 (CDI1) and EDC15C6 (CDI2) packs. If this is the case, the instrument cluster will indicate “Start Error” on older models as well as on commercial vehicles.

Symptoms

The vehicle will no longer start and “Start Error” is displayed on the cockpit display.

Once the error occurs, the engine control unit stops communicating with the starter.
Normally, the engine control unit stores the error code P1630, which cannot be cleared later. Sometimes the immobilizer pack does not report any error code, but it still does not work

The pack is intended for professionals and for engineering purposes only!

The pack works with Dumps – Hex / Bin files, and needs an eprom and motorola programmer to read the ECU and WSP unit connectors, and write them after repair
