This J2534 Rewrite application can be used in a variety of situations that require reprogrammed ECM/PCMs, such as after a service procedure, an upgrade, or simply to modify existing settings. The application offers a reliable and intuitive way to reprogram any Honda/Acura vehicle, without needing to switch programs or look for special connectors.
A new reprogramming application called J2534 Rewrite. This new implementation is compatible with common VCIs that comply with SAE j2534.
It should be used to reprogram any Honda/Acura vehicle that supports reprogramming. Although system-dependent, late-model vehicles can also be equipped with other attachments that support reprogramming, eg. ABS or VSA. J2534 rewrite as specified in a current service bulletin should be used to reprogram these control modules.
As shown in this table, all previous Honda/Acura models are equipped with a reprogrammable ECM/PCM. Also, all 2007 and later models not listed in the table are fully supported with this app.
