The Caterpillar Digital Voltage Regulator (CDVR) is a microprocessor-based control designed to provide precise voltage control, robust transient response, and generator protection with industry-leading features and versatility.

FEATURES:
Microprocessor-based control offering a choice of three (3) standard control modes:

– Automatic voltage regulation (AVR)
– Power factor regulation (PF)
– Regulation of reactive power (Var)

Programmable stability settings.

Soft start control with adjustable time setting in AVR control mode.
Dual slope underfrequency regulation (volts / hertz).
Three-phase or single-phase generator voltage sensing / regulation (RMS) in AVR mode.
Single-phase current sensor for regulation purposes.
Field current and field voltage detection.

¿Five contact sensor inputs for the pack interface.

A common LED for visual indication of shutdown and alarm fault conditions.
Fault shutdown controller and alarm output controller to indicate alarm and shutdown fault conditions.

¿Parallel generator with reactive drop compensation and reactive differential compensation.

Line drop compensation.
Remote communication interface via CAN 2.0B.
Ten generator protection functions.
UL 508A recognized and CE certified.
