How to do airbag reset?
To perform an airbag crash reset with airbag service tool software via obd2 port, follow these steps:
- Install the airbag service tool software on a windows computer.
- Connect the programmer to the vehicle’s diagnostic obd port and to the computer.
- Turn the ignition key to the ON position.
- Open the airbag service tool software on the computer.
- Select the vehicle’s make, model, part number and crash in from the software’s list.
- Read the current airbag status on the software’s display.
- Press the button: Do it and the airbag crash module will be reset
- After the reset process is complete, check the airbag status again to confirm that the crash data has been cleared.
